Graham, WA (June 27, 2005) The top-three finishers in Saturday’s Late Model Challenge Series’ 150-lap point race at Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval in East Wenatchee WA evidently liked their prior finish positions at the series’ season opener back in April, and went for a repeat. Brent Harris of East Wenatchee has won each of the LMCS’s events held at WVSO this season and has proven to be the guy to beat at his home track. Harris is the current points leader in the series which had a third points race rain shortened at Stateline in late May Garrett Evans of East Wenatchee WA, and Jimmy Johnson of Orting WA hold second and third place in points with their repeat finishes at WVSO. |

With short notice, the father/daughter team elected to head north of the border to test their skills at the Lucas Oil ‘Can-Am 150’ Invitational event at Sun Valley Speedway in beautiful Vernon, BC. After setting fast qualifying time, winning the trophy dash, and then taking top honors in the 150-lap feature it is evident they picked the right event to attend. |
